Today hosted a ceremony of oath candidate attorneys with members of the Presidium of the Bar Association, law enforcement leaders, MPs, representatives of foreign embassies, representatives of local and international organizations, as well as the media.
The event was held in the Central Scientific Library of ANAS, with the joint organization of the Bar of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS.
Ayten Mustafazade, director of the Institute of Human Rights and Rights of ANAS, made a speech at the opening ceremony and spoke about the importance of protecting human rights and reforms in this direction, stressing the importance of providing free legal assistance to the poor. She noted that the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS and the Bar Association, will lay the foundation for further cooperation, including free legal aid, as well as joint activities on the ongoing training of lawyers.
Then the chairman of the Bar Association, Anar Bagirov, stated that today, June 18, by decree of President Ilham Aliyev of June 17, 2007 is celebrated the National Day of Human Rights in Azerbaijan,, The “State Program for the Protection of Human Rights”, adopted by national leader Heydar Aliyev, was identified as one of the main directions of state policy, Azerbaijan established National Human Rights Day, and this strategic goal set out in the Constitution is primarily necessary for the implementation of the principle of reform and protection of human rights in real life.
For this reason, the coincidence of the oath of candidates and the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Bar Association is a very important event today.
Then a “Memorandum of Understanding” was signed between the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Presidium of the Azerbaijan Bar Association on issues of mutual cooperation.
The event was hearing a lecture director of the department "State and constitutional law" of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, head of the law office of the city of Khirdalan Ayhan Rustamzade, on the theme "Practical approaches to the problems of proof during improper medical intervention in criminal cases."
Then the advocate candidates, speaking, expressed their gratitude to the Bureau of the Bar Association for intensively conducting professional examinations for the legal profession and expressed their satisfaction in acquiring the profession of advocate.
Then, a ceremony of taking the oath for successful candidates who passed the qualifying examinations was held, and the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed, the attorneys took the oath of allegiance to the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan and were given certificates to them.
